As we near the end of the expansion, gear has become exceptionally easy to acquire. It should be a simple and fairly painless experience to gear a fresh level 85 priest.
Unlike previously posted lists, I will be consolidating the process within a single post and offering my suggested item(s) per gearing level (pre-heroic, pre-353 heroic, pre-HoT heroic, and pre-LFR/DS).
In the case of multiple options, I’ll mark the preferred choice with an asterisk (*). When there are more than two preferred choices, I’ll mark at least one with a double asterisk (**), indicating that I consider it top priority/choice. [Note: The exception is Darkmoon Card: Tsunami, which is absolutely outstanding but can cost thousands of gold; if you have the gold, get it. It will likely last until LFR/DS.]
I will not be including items dropped in any raids. For anyone who has the chance to run Firelands, I direct you to your in-game Dungeon Journal, which can be accessed using Shift+J.
Finally, you obviously don’t have to get the preferred choice in every slot, and you can skip levels whenever you break into the next set of dungeons.
